I built ScrubPay after years on the staffing side of healthcare, watching facilities pay full price for five different tools that all needed the same employee data and never once talked to each other. So I built the one that does.
I grew up in Lincoln, went to Southwest High School, and stuck around for college at the University of Nebraska. After graduating I moved to San Diego, where I spent five years in sales for the largest travel nursing agency in the country - which meant living inside the exact problem ScrubPay solves today, from the other side of the table.
San Diego is also where I met my wife, a nurse, and where we welcomed our first daughter. Once we had a family of our own, Nebraska pulled us back - the community, the pace, the people I grew up around. Coming home is what actually got ScrubPay off the ground.
Between what I'd seen on the staffing side and a genuine love for building software, I couldn't unsee the gap. Facilities were stitching together an ATS, a payroll system, a travel nursing vendor, and a VMS to manage that vendor - paying full price for every piece, with none of the data connected between them. So I built the platform I kept wishing existed: hiring, scheduling, time tracking, payroll, permanent postings, travel nursing contracts, and vendor management for travel staff, all under one roof, for less than most facilities were already paying for the pieces.
The first workforce platform built exclusively for healthcare, with every piece of the employee lifecycle under one roof.
A careers page and applicant pipeline built for clinical roles, not retrofitted from general HR software.
Runs off the hours already in the system. No re-keying, no separate vendor to reconcile against.
A drag-and-drop schedule and a real time clock, both tied to the same record as payroll. No separate system to reconcile.
Full-time and part-time roles managed the same place you manage everything else, no separate job board.
Posted directly on a flat fee you set, never a percentage markup on the clinician's wage.
Own staff and contract labor read off the same data you pay people with, not two systems that disagree.
Every vendor on the platform above is integrated with our travel partner, The Staffing Company - one place to manage them instead of a spreadsheet per agency.
My wife, our girls, and the family we came home for - the actual reason ScrubPay exists.

Thirty minutes, your real numbers, no slide deck. If ScrubPay isn't a fit for how your facility runs, I'll tell you that on the call.
